The reality that many posters here fail to recognize is that DC is corrupt because of the HUGE amount of money that is involved in making political decisions. Nothing will change until that money is gone. Trump has none NOTHING to change the money flow. In fact, he embraces it with billionaires and lobbyists. Trump is a MONEY MAN.

I'm not arguing the point, because I don't know this answer. But, is Trump changing the source of the money? By that I mean, is it NEW money to DC and thus outside of the entrenched establishment? If yes, then it might not be a bad thing. We all know it takes money to drive change in national politics. "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Nope, but she may have led to a stronger, more unified, and more potent conservative voting core compared to Trump's convictionless populism that, up to now, has shown itself to be ineffective.

No, the money is still coming from the same people now that Trump is President. He is one of them. Trump is all talk and no action on draining the swamp.
