If we can all just step back for a moment and examine this...what has President Trump done to/for minorities in this country? Well, to hear folks like those standing on the side, Trump has clamped blacks in chains, denied them rights, caused wide-spread poverty and lost opportunity, all kinds of bad things. Yet...it was under obummer that the poverty level grew among blacks, record high unemployment, record high food stamps...and under Trump the exact opposite has happened, record low unemployment, etc... Trump is also fighting to protect jobs and other opportunities by curtailing ILLEGAL immigration, heck! he even proposed controlling LEGAL immigration during this economic crisis such that Americans, i.e. blacks, would have more opportunities to retain jobs or seek new ones if the business they had worked for had closed. Nothing has come of that and probably won't, but the fact that President Trump even considered it, proposed it, doesn't sound like something some racist would do.
And BTW, I know it's hard for you Goosey, but don't be so stupid and let your TDS get the better of you. Anyone with even an ounce of sense knows Trump was thanking the general show of support he got from those people in The Villages, and not because someone got frustrated at the other side and said "white power (not "while" power)." That is so petty of you (ahem...) to pick out one thing and link it to Trump's general appreciation, as if that is the reason he referred to them as "great people." Just stop it. Last night, watched Mark Levine on Fox News. He had Leo Terrell and Lt Col Allen West. Leo Terrell is a black civil rights attorney and Allen West former repubilician congressman from Florida. If you haven't heard of Mr. Terrell's take on systemic racism and BLMs you will be surprised. Last nights program will be retelecast next sat night @ 5pm.

But it is really more of a definitional thing.
Blacks Lives Matter (the organization) vs “black lives matter” a statement of affirmation that has been co-opted somewhat by the organization that claims to own something they didn’t create or control.
Equating “systemic discrimination” with the intent of cops or policy makers is also defining systemic discrimination in a narrow way.
Sounds like this guy knew what would help FoxNews viewers get their rocks off, and they were happy to give him some free publicity in return (how many times have you mentioned his name before?). Win-win for the network and this person.
