The fact that we made a bowl in 2020 was incredible with the amount of games missed and other issues that we had. Sure the bowl game didn't go great but we were on our backup QB and they were a triple option team. Shit happens. 2020 was a good year.
2021 was a down year, but it happens. You shouldn't fire the guy at that point.
Fanbase got spoiled and wanted something shiny. Turns out not every thing that glitters is gold.
We went 5-5 so don't know how you can say we won 4 games.
.500. That's not awful considering we missed a month of the season and basically scheduled an extra money game just to get a game in and cancelled some very winnable ones.
So in the last 8 years of his tenure he had one bad season.
A stud QB + a crap OL = a crap QB
He underachieved every season.
Evidently we have only 2 guys that can catch, Harris and Allen. Our only decent RB went out early in the game. Gonna be a long year.
I will respect your opinion, but clearly we weren’t watching the same games through the season. Skippy drove this program into the ground and who knows when we will recover from his ineptitude. It was definitely time for his butt to be kicked out the door. If nothing else, just look at how many are defending dear ole Skippy. You, sir, are a Lone Ranger!
Sooooo glad we have a tight end facet to the O now. 17 from Malakoff is doing well.
21 Freshman Willis looks good.
Do I remember correctly - have we only tried 1 pass down the field? Even the TD was a 7 yd throw! What is this about?
Need Harris back in the game.
